LearnChinese1on1.com was founded in 2005 by American and European expats living in China. Understanding the difficulties of learning the Chinese language, they formed a social club where their chinese wives taught chinese to new foreigners arriving in China. When their wives asked new foreigners why they didn't learn chinese in their home country before coming to China, they kept hearing the same answer: No time, too expensive, language books/audio/softwares don't work. It was only a matter of putting the pieces together that the American and European expats came up with the idea to use the same technology (webcam) they use to keep in touch with friends and family back at home, to teach chinese across the globe!
With the advent of faster internet, learning a second language without having to pay for expensive schooling or burdening full immersion programs has been made possible through LearnChinese1on1.com. As China continues its drastic development and extends its influence into the international arena, thousands of people are becoming interested in learning the Chinese language and understanding the vast uniqueness and beauty of Chinese culture.
Owned and managed by American and European expats living in China, you can be rest assured that you will be receiving high quality Chinese language instruction by certified Native Chinese teachers. All of our teachers are in direct contact with our office and we strive to maintain a top-notch core of teaching staff.

right off the bat.Want to focus solely on writing Chinese characters? Need to just learn the basics before a long trip? We will tailor a program to best

STEP 2: Connect
We will help place you with one of our certified language teachers. Once acquainted, you will work together to develop your own learning schedule based around your life. |
STEP 3: Learn
By using Skype or Windows Live Messenger, you will be able to interact with your teacher; talk, laugh, learn, share. By using your computer's microphone and webcam, you will be able to interact through both verbal and non-verbal communication, one on one. It is just like having a private tutor right next to you. |
